Ray and I had the absolute pleasure of riding in CicLAvia this Sunday. It was one of the coolest things we've ever done in Los Angeles.
The auto mecca took a breather for a few hours and miles,
opening up to anyone -- on bikes, roller blades, whatever.

Young or old,
hot
or not,
hipster
or dogster,
everyone looked so happy and proud to be a part of this amazing -- and free -- event, experiencing a car-free city for a 7.5 mile stretch.
The ride had a special meaning because the route ran through Boyle Heights, where Ray grew up. He looked beautiful crossing over the 4th Street Bridge as we rode toward Hollenbeck Park to start the ride.
There, we saw Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa speak.
(Note: He's way more attractive in person. Just saying.)
There was just so much coolness on this very hot day (90+ degrees!).
Hard to capture in photos. You just have to experience it for yourself. Thank you to every single person who made this memory for us and thousands of others.
We can't wait to do it again!
