Peaches & Vanilla Frozen Yogurt

Last night, I picked up some juicy peaches from the produce stand on the way home from work. We had them sliced up with a dollop (or three) of homemade vanilla frozen yogurt. It was a perfect summertime treat!

Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
(adapted from the Cuisinart Vanilla Ice Cream recipe)

  • 3 c. plain, nonfat yogurt
  • 1 c. sugar (or to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla (Trader Joe's bourbon vanilla)
  1. Blend 1 cup of yogurt with the sugar. Mix until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the remaining yogurt and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Follow the ice cream maker manufacturer's directions.
