I've been wanting to try LAMill for quite some time, and finally had the chance. It was packed on a Sunday afternoon, so I ended up at the counter. After poring over the menu, the drink of choice was the Coffee and Jelly Donut.
When it arrived, I was a little disappointed. It was a tiny little shot perched on its own pedestal. But the first sip tasted exactly like a warm jelly donut blended with rich, deep coffee and steaming milk. For the mini size, it packed a lot of flavor -- and was rather rich. Such an interesting concept: dessert (or breakfast) and coffee all in one shot.
Oh, this photo was shot with my current crush: Hipstamatic for iPhone. As someone else remarked, "You could take a picture of your toe or a spoon and it would look cool." Seriously. Here's a spoon.
